Conferences
For a summary overview of the Four Season Retreat System, click here. Details of the conference in this schedule for 2011-2012 are added as they become available. From it you can print, fill out, and mail the conference registration form, along with your $50 deposit.
Unless otherwise noted, programs begin with dinner on Friday; plan to arrive after 5pm Friday evening, in time for dinner at 6:30. Weekend workshops generally end by 2pm on Sunday. Week-long programs begin Sunday at 5pm and run through Friday at 1pm. The cost for weekend programs ranges from $145 to $350. The fee for each program is noted on that program's registration form. Most of our workshops have a sliding scale, and scholarship funds are available - please ask! This fee includes program, lodging and food. A nonrefundable deposit of $50 is required to hold a space for a program (if you need to cancel, the deposit can be applied toward a future workshop).
Cabins are available for personal retreats. More information about cabin rental is available here. Click here for a flyer about individual retreats.
Room & Board
Our 19th-century farmhouse has hand-hewn beams and wide pine floors, with simple dorm-style lodging. We serve nourishing home-cooked meals and always offer a vegetarian option. Please let us know if you have any other dietary restrictions. Part of the community building at each retreat includes the joyful sharing of meal chores and clean-up.
What to bring when you come
Our accommodations are plain, warm and clean. Plan to dress comfortably and to live simply while here. Please bring your own toiletries, towels, and bedding (sleeping bag or sheets and blanket). Pillows and extra blankets are provided. Be sure to bring seasonally appropriate clothes and comfortable indoor and outdoor footwear. You might also like to have along a flashlight, journal, music and art supplies, and (in the winter) skiis or snowshoes. Please do not bring pets or candles. Cell phone reception is limited at Woolman Hill, and we have no public internet access.
