Rosa Davis was born in Lima, Peru in 1978 and attended San Martin University to study Psychology. After three semesters, she took an opportunity to emigrate to the US. Rosa enrolled in Middlesex County College. She achieved multiple certifications at various technical colleges eventually becoming the Network Administrator graduating with a degree in Network and Communication Management.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nMs. Davis was promoted to the Regional IT Administrator for the AES North America East Power Plants, managing the budget and programs for the IT department. She was selected as the Employee of the Year in 2004.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Her first private business endeavor was opening a high-end retail women\u2019s clothing boutique named Bella Mystique in Red Bank (2006-2011). In April of 2010 Bella Mystique brought downtown Red Bank its first open-air fashion show, with many more to follow around the Shore.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2011, Rosa met the owners of a Private Investigation firm and soon became a partner of Enhanced Background Checks later renamed Jersey Shore Private Detectives where she still works as a Private Investigator.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Rosa has been involved in numerous community events and programs for years and in recognition of her leadership she was appointed the Honorary Commander of the Air Force 305th <\/span>Aerial Port Squadron at the Joint Base McGuire-DIX-Lakehurst on August 20, 2014. In April of 2015 Rosa was featured in the Asbury Park Press as one of the \u201c4 Fabulous Females Right Here at the Shore\u201d, and on August 7, 2017 her journey was highlighted in the popular business journal NJ BIZ in an article entitled \u201cA Real Renaissance Woman\u201d. On September 27, 2017 Rosa was a speaker on a panel of high profile female leaders who all received the \u201cDriving Your Business Leadership Excellence\u201d award at the annual Women at the Wheel conference.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Rosa is an activist for reforming the Statute of Limitations for sexual crimes against children in the international community, with a focus on the Americas. During her quest to make these changes she is also creating a documentary with her husband called \u201cBreaking Free \u2013 a Promise to a Little Girl\u201d which follows her on her journey back to the streets of her childhood to fight for reforms that will provide more safety and justice for future generations to come. Rosa, a survivor of sexual abuse as a child, has dedicated her life to the cause for children\u2019s ability to find legal justice against their attackers later in life, and she is a pivotal advocate for this cause as her case is being used as a paradigm in the Peruvian Congress for why the laws need to be changed. There are two bills that were presented to the Peruvian Congress in March 2017 regarding Statutes of Limitations on sexual abuse towards children and Rosa has been instrumental in giving them traction.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2017 Rosa met the current President of Peru, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski at Princeton University and spoke to him regarding sexual crimes against children.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
