Dear WFCR management,

I am writing to add my voice to the chorus of criticism regarding the heavy handed schedule changes at your station. The elimination of the two folk programs (thistle and shamrock and valley folk) is unbelievably biased and shortsighted. The last thing we need is more boring jazz and classical music emanating from that which is supposed to be our local public radio station. Fortunately there is another public radio station which we can pick up in this region, and even though the signal tends not to be as strong, I make a point now to listen to WAMC even for programs such as the news and prairie home companion that you still bother to broadcast. I strongly urge you to reconsider your poor programing decisions or face the reality that WFCR will continue to degenerate into a station of general cultural irrelevance.

Sincerely, Ryan Voiland - Granby MA
