Dear WFCR,

As a financial supporter of WFCR, a longtime resident of Amherst and a citizen whose airways you lease, I strongly object to your decision to eliminate your folk music programming. I was well- versed in folk music when I moved to the Valley eighteen years ago, but I have to say that my musical horizons have been expanded exponentially by listening to Valley Folk, Afropop Worldwide and Thistle and Shamrock. I hope you understand that the thousands of loyal listeners to these shows are not quietly going to accept being slapped in the face by your misguided programmers.
