to provide financial support to 88.5FM WFCR Public Radio ("WFCR") and to provide advice and make recommendations to station management and its license holder on all matters related to the overall operations and strategies of WFCR.” 

 

Nowhere in bylaws is “programming” mentioned.

·          The Sunday Show – An eclectic mix of American popular standards, classical, rock and roll, jazz and "good talk"

·          Folksong Festival (on 820 AM) – Oscar Brand’s folk program is longest running show on public radio.

WFCR 88.5 FM is focused on NPR news and classical music and jazz

·          Classical (53%); Jazz (11%); News/Talk (36%); Other genres (0%)

·          Syndicated (63%); Locally produced (37%). Local productions are classical shows + 2 hours of  Tertulia

·          WFCR management canceled Tertulia.  2 hours restored after public outcry.
